Eligibility Conditions for M.A. 1st Semester
Admission to the above will be open to students with
I. 45% in B.A. I, II, &III in the particular subject. OR
ii. 50% in aggregate. OR
iii. Any other equivalent examination declared so by the PU, Chd.
iv. Master’s degree examination in any other subject.
*Students will be offered options available in college.

Eligibility Conditions for M.A. 2nd, 3rd & 4th Semester
Persons who have passed one of the following examinations are eligible to join 2nd 3rd & 4th semester:
(i) Semester Ist, IInd and IIIrd examination in the subject offered from the college.
(ii) Semester Ist, IInd and IIIrd examination in the subject offered from Kurukshetra/ Punjabi/ Guru Nanak Dev/ Maharishi Daya Nand/ Himachal Pradesh University provided he/she offered the same papers as are available at this University.

Note:
1. A student for Semester IIIrd & IVth examination must have passed Semester Ist & IInd examination not more than five years previously.
2. Compartment students of other University are not eligible to join M.A. Semester IIIrd of this University.
3. The written examination to be conducted by the University in each paper shall carry 80% marks and internal assessment shall carry 20% marks.
