The following scholarships, stipends and concessions are available for the students. Students should submit the applications when they are asked to do so alongwith the recommendations by their teachers/village Sarpanch/authorized officials:

A.  Central Government Scholarships

1. National Loan Scholarships to students with 55% marks and above.
2. National Scholarships to students on merit basis.
3. Scholarships to Scheduled Castes.
4. Prime Minister’s Minority Category Scholarships to the students belonging to Sikh, Muslim, Budhism, Jainism and Parsee religion.
   Students with 50% marks in the preceding examination and having annual parental income less than Rs.2,00,000/ are eligible. (Students must apply in time)

B.  State Government Scholarships.

1. Merit Scholarships.
2. District S.S.A. Board Scholarships to wards of Military Personnel having 50% marks and above.

C.  By Panjab University Scholarships:

1. Panjab University provides 200 scholarships in the categories: (a) Brilliant and Needy (b) Handicapped (c) Sports (d) Single Girl Child (e) AIDS/Cancer Patient on the basis of University Annual Examination.(f) Son/ daughter of disabled military personnel.
2. Some more Merit-cum-Means scholarships such as “Deewan Som Nath & Radha Krishan Prem” etc. are available.

D.  U.G.C. Scholarships, Allowances and Stipends:

1. Travel allowance to the students coming from distance of 10 KMs and above. (An amount of Rs.2,00,000/ was allocated to this college for the said purpose for the session of 2010-11)
2. Stipend at the rate of Rs. 6000/ P.A. on Merit cum Means basis. (An amount of Rs.1,20,000/ was allocated to this college for the session 2010-11).
3. Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child: UGC had allocated 1200 scholarships for the session 2010-12 for this scheme.
